TASK 2: Operate fly shuttle loom for weaving

1 Mount the heald frames in the fly shuttle loom.

2 Connect the top portion of the heddles at the top of
the fly shuttle loom.

3 Connect the bottom portion of the heddles to the
treadles/pedals.
4 Connect the four heald shafts with the four treadles.
as shown in Fig 1
5 Now press the first pedal and observe the movement
of heald frame.

6 Then press the second pedal to bring the heddles
down.
7 Likewise operate all the pedals.

TASK 3: Operate through shuttle loom for weaving
1 Mount the heald frames in the through shuttle loom Fig 1
with the help of cords.
2 Connect the top portion of the heddles to the jacks
which is placed at the top of the through shuttle loom
with the help of cords.
3 Connect the bottom portion of the heddles with lam
rods.
4 Now connect the lam rods with the treadles.as
shown in Fig 1.

5 Now press the first pedal and observe the movement
of heald frame.
